ELECTRICITY: David Lynch Tribute Live - recording of a concert-presentation of a two-series tribute album to a film director and musician by kultFRONT. A unique audiovisual show was presented on 26 September 2017 in the very heart of St. Petersburg - the Angleterre Cinema Lounge cinema in the eponymous hotel on St. Isaac's Square (
angleterrecinema.ru/ru/screenings/66834). The musicians played against the video, created in real time on a large movie screen.
The evening was divided into two series, each of them demonstrated two main components of the tribute - dark rhythmic near-techno patterns and forest droning depths. The first part featured Relic Radiation and Ivan Napreenko (Sal Solaris, Otzepenevshiye, Θ16). The second - Svetlo111, Uhushuhu and Lunar Abyss.
The recording of each set took one of the sides of the compact cassette. As the "Black Wigwam" is the embodiment of the "White Wigwam", a place where spirits who rule over man and nature on Earth live, so both musical reincarnations of that evening, constantly touching, now share the same mysterious space. The space, in this case, is embodied in a magnetic tape. It is impossible to guess exactly where the listener will encounter his own shadow in this sonic journey. Not everything depends on the direction in which the film will slide along the magnetic head of each new cassette deck. One can get stuck in a ring of 12 sycamores at any second of these 88 minutes of mystery.
The video has traditionally been masterly created by VJ Yuri Elik. What actually happened in September 2017 in Angleterre, today can only hint at showing static recordings of video cameras.

The edition is supplemented with a bonus track - a remix by Svetlo111 on the track "Lynch" by DMT, from which the Russian David Lynch Tribute started collecting 10 years ago. Dmitry Tolmatsky was the first to record his music as a mark of respect for the filmmaker and the musician in the framework of this project.
This release is a reference embodiment of everything that is so important for kultFRONT. Intertwining of seemingly incompatible creators and replication of live recordings. Edition ELECTRICITY: David Lynch Tribute Live timed to coincide with the 29th anniversary of the premiere of the first series of "Twin Peaks" on 08 April 1990.

2017 is an important year for fans of non-standard cinema. After 25 years, David Lynch’s cult serial "Twin Peaks" returned to the screens. The film, which at the turn of the 80-90s of the last century changed the history of television series and feature films, changed the outlook of many people in various parts of the world. Russian sound experimentalists paid tribute to the musician and director in a two-part project DAVID LYNCH TRIBUTE. As the famous fan of Lynch, the chief editor of the magazine "Art of Cinema", film critic Anton Dolin said: "Everything is very whimsical and conceptual there - each track illustrates a particular image or film, and everything together looks like a crazy soundtrack not so much to the Lynch cinema, but to the spirit and ideology of its universe. Perfect dipping".

ELECTRICITY: David Lynch Tribute Live – запись концерта-презентации двухсерийного трибьюта от kultFRONT кинорежиссёру и музыканту. Уникальное аудиовизуальное шоу было представлено 26 сентября 2017 года в самом сердце Санкт-Петербурга - кинотеатре Angleterre Cinema Lounge в одноимённой гостинице на Исаакиевской площади (
angleterrecinema.ru/ru/screenings/66834). Музыканты играли на фоне видеоряда, создаваемого в режиме реального времени на большом киноэкране.
Вечер был разделён на две серии, каждая из которых продемонстрировала две основные составные трибьюта – темные ритмичные около-техно узоры, и лесные гудельные глубины. За первую часть отвечали Relic Radiation и Иван Напреенко (Sal Solaris, Оцепеневшие, Θ16). За вторую - Svetlo111, Uhushuhu и Lunar Abyss.
Запись каждого сета заняла одну из сторон компакт-кассеты. Как "Чёрный Вигвам" является воплощённой тенью "Белого Вигвама", места, где живут духи, которые правят человеком и природой на Земле, так и оба музыкальных перерождения того вечера, постоянно соприкасаясь, теперь делят одно и то же таинственное пространство. Пространство в данном случае воплощённое в магнитной плёнке. Угадать, где именно в этом звуковом путешествии слушатель встретится со своей собственной тенью, невозможно. От того, в каком направлении будет скользить плёнка по магнитной головке каждой новой кассетной деки, зависит далеко не всё. Застрять в кольце из 12-ти сикомор можно в любую секунду этих 88 минут тайны.
Видеоряд традиционно виртуозно был создан VJ Юрием Эликом. Что на самом деле случилось в сентябре 2017 года в Англетере, сегодня могут лишь намеком показать статичные записи видеокамер.

Издание дополнено бонус-треком – ремиксом от Svetlo111 на композицию DMT "Lynch", с которой 10 лет назад и начал собираться российский David Lynch Trubute. Дмитрий Толмацкий был первым, кто записал свою музыку в знак уважения киномастера и музыканта в рамках этого проекта.
Этот релиз – эталонное воплощение всего, что так важно для kultFRONT. Переплетение казалось бы несовместимых творцов и тиражирование концертных записей. Издание ELECTRICITY: David Lynch Tribute Live приурочено к 29-ой годовщине премьерного показа первой серии "Твин Пикс" 8 апреля 1990 года.

Фильм, который на рубеже 80-90-х годов прошлого века изменил историю телесериалов и полнометражных фильмов, поменял мировоззрение многих людей в самых разных уголках мира. Российские звуковые экспериментаторы отдали дань уважения музыканту и режиссёру в двухсерийном проекте DAVID LYNCH TRIBUTE.
